Welcome to the Dreambirds!

"The Dreambirds fly for peace, for the children of the world . . . for a world where dreams come true."

The Dreambirds is a jet airshow team formed to support the expanding global mission of Dreams for Kids, a non-profit children's charity and youth empowerment organization based in Chicago.

In August of 2006, Jim Hayhurst, a former Air Force F-15 fighter pilot, met Tom Tuohy, the founder of Dreams for Kids.  Tom spoke of expanding the Dreams for Kids mission to a higher level.  Jim shared his idea of an airshow team that served charity and advanced the cause of peace . . .

The two men came up with the name "Dreambirds" in minutes.  The rest is history . . . and you can be a part of it!

In years to come, we hope the Dreambirds will become a universally recognized symbol of peace and goodwill, and the economic engine that powers Dreams for Kids' global programs.

The Dreambirds exist because of the shared vision of two exceptional men: Randy Howell, leader of the Patriots Jet team, and Scott Lesh, leader of the USJet team. Randy and Scott agreed to unite their teams to serve this wonderful cause.

Today, two great teams are ready to take wings as the Dreambirds: the Patriots and USJet . . . both have been flying with perfect safety records and both have stellar reputations . . .
